Not sure what to say?

Dear Dr. Coghlan, I so appreciate you and wish that you were still with us at this time... I have been away from New England for so long. I never said thank-you enough for all or your kind deeds and support during my undergraduate degree. There truly are angels among us. Mahalo nui, and Aloha, Joan

I am deeply sadden of hear of Dr. Coghlan's death. After graduating from Simmons, we would meet once in a while for lunch and she encouraged me to call her Anne (she was so gracious!). We shared many great memories; I'm glad that I had the chance to share with her how much I appreciated her support and encouragement as my Dean, and later as my friend.

My classmates and I in the Class of 1948 share many memories of this bright, intelligent caring friend. My fellow commuter as freshmen, a part of every class event, a presence over the years at our mini-reunions and our legacy at Simmons. We'll miss, you, Anne.
Jane G. Washburn Parker, Secretary, Class of 1948

Ann was my very first client when I started my tech support and computer training business more then ten years ago. I took her out to buy her first computer - she had never used one. She was eager to learn and struggled at first but with time and practice she became proficient enough to handle most tasks that came her way. She was more than a client, we became good friends. I'll miss our long chats after our tech sessions. She was a real power of example to me.
Thanks Ann for being part...

Dean Coghlan inspired me to expand my career goals and become a physical therapist. I will always treasure my memories of our talks in which she shared her wisdom and her wonderful sense of humor. She will be missed!

I'm so sad to hear of her passing. She was a wonderful dean, teacher and role model and was a tremendous asset to Simmons College. Her legacy will always be remembered.

I fondly remember my wonderful Biology professor. What a truly amazing woman and a role model for all Simmons women.

DR. COGHLAN WAS A VERY LOVING AND CARING PERSON. SHE MENTORED ME AT SIMMONS COLLEGE AND SHE WAS ONE OF MY FAVORITE PROFESSORS. FOR THIS I WILL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL.

Ann was generous, lovely and one of a kind. You'll always have a place here.
