Not sure what to say?

When I first met Annie, I thought that there couldn't be a more gentle and kind woman. She had a twinkle in her eye that let you know that she was a kid-ster (a trait that she passed onto her son, Mike...my "favorite" 3rd son). I learned how to make "Patitza" with Sug and her guidance. Later on, when she went to Namaste, I was so enchanted to hear her belt out songs and talk at the top of her lungs. It was fun.
Our condolences to Sug, Mike, and Steve. We share in your loss.

Aunt Anne will always hold a special place in my heart.  I remember my brother and I spending time with her in Rawlins when I was a child.  Lots of good memories of her.  She was always so kind and generous and patient; she was soft spoken but also very funny.  Aunt Anne always made me feel special and loved; she was my second grandma.  I remember the time she scolded Uncle John for tricking me into eating Goldies dog biscuits (I was pretty gullible).  She sat me down and gave me cookies and...

To the Family of Miss Annie,

I was blessed to have had the honor of spending time with Miss Annie while in nursing...Her sparkling brown eyes were full of mischief...I would tell her that we brown eyed girls needed to stick together and that always brought a chuckle from her and sometimes a little song. My thoughts are with the family at this time...Miss Annie was such a wonderful lady.

Jack & Sug
Your Mom was very special to me. I spent a lot of summers in Rawlins when I was a kid, and she and your Dad always gave me the VIP treatment.
When we lived in Laramie she would take the train to visit and spend time with my boys. She was a second Grandma to them. She made the trip to attend both of their weddings.
When Jim graduated from college she sent us to Denver to celebrate and she babysat for us. She helped to paint my bedroom and stepped off the ladder...

Anne was the nicest lady that I ever met and I have to smile when thinking about her. She never failed to greet you with a smile, a hug, and the question if you had eaten and what could she fix for you.
When Marilyn and I had first married and had our son Brad, we drove over to Saratoga, Wyoming for a Sunday picnic and when we got to Saratoga we telephoned Aunt Anne and Uncle John to come to Saratoga to join us. She stated that she had dinner in the oven and they were ready to sit down...

Sug,
I am so sorry to hear about Aunt Anne. I remember her as a much younger lady with a beautiful smile and a soft, sweet voice. She taught me how to knit (the first time I cast stitches onto a needle, we thought we were going to have to cut them off the needle with a rasor blade, they were so tight. She laughed so hard, she had tears in her eyes). Thankfully, I learned how to knit....thanks to her patience....and when I do work on a project, I think of her. I loved looking at...

Sug,
Granny was such a special part of our lives. She leaves us with happy memories of good times and laughter.
She was one wonderful Wyoming woman!!
Love,
Linda and Jon
