Not sure what to say?

Anne was my former wife of many years. We raised four children on Long Island and saw them complete college and graduate school. Anne was an excellent teacher and valued education.

I didn't know Anne well but we wove together for many years. My husband is a Lutheran minister and we made that connection at one of our weave-ins. She was always willing to help and had such a positive look on life. I had moved from LI to Kingston New York some 12 years ago so do not have recent memories to share but know that she made an impression on those she encountered.

The memories I have of the Dirlam family is still close to my heart. We lived next door and we're like a blended family. Mrs.Dirlam was always so kind. She taught me cooking and tried to teach me gardening, tho I had no green thumb. I was able to visit her and Kari (my little sister) and Jim just before I moved out of state a few years back. Oh what a happy reunion we had. Sending prayers, and hugs to Kari, Jim, Lise, and Mat and Mr. Dirlam. Barbara Ralph May she rest in peace.

Anne was a long-time, very dear friend, and we shared many wonderful times together. I have missed her very much in recent years and will miss even more now. Rest in peace, my dear friend. And to Kari, James, Lise, Mathew, I extend my deepest sympathy. I´m so very sorry and sad for your loss.

Jim, I am so very sorry to hear of your Mom´s passing. Your siblings and you all loved her dearly, I know. I know caring for her was hard at times but you always had a great sense of humor and perspective. God bless your Mom and bless you, too, my friend.
