Not sure what to say?

Dear Bob, Lois and Susan, I was so sorry to hear of Anne's passing. It has been many years since the Skating Club of Hartford but I still remember her vitality and beauty. I hope your fond memories of the past and her wonderful boys will carry you through the upcoming anniversary. Fondly, Susan

Dear Lois and Bob,

I share this poem with you that I wrote for Anne on her 40th birthday - the celebration that night in the vineyard was joyous and the love between Anne and Tony magical!

For Anne

My beautiful friend next to me
You know me like no other,
A friendship so rare
Can you believe we met twenty-six years ago?
Mr. Richards class. I remember it perfectly.
We became instant best friends
And our...

Anne, what you mean to me
That precious pearl
On a clam strewn beach
Who washed up before me

How did I know
As I found this jewel
And tucked it in my pocket
That it grow through my heart
My life, and I would be opened, too
How rich a man am I
That the...

She refused to wear her glasses, even at the risk of inviting comparisons to Mr. Magoo. So I teased her about that and about plenty of other things but Anne was not to be outdone in the teasing...

Dear Lois, Bob, Susan, and David,

I was at work when I received the very sad news from my sister Lisa regarding the death of Annie and her husband. A coworker asked if I was alright because at that moment I couldn't breathe. I remembered all the Christmas Eve's spent together becoming a "family tradition" and watching Annie grow from a pretty little girl into a stunning, remarkable woman with a presence that when she walked into a room ALL heads turned to watch.

Lois, Bob & family...

As we learn of your tragic loss, our thoughts and prayers are with you during this time of great sorrow. Many years have passed and our lives have gone in many directions. I'm recalling Newcomer's Club and our enjoyable times together. Children were often an enjoyable topic of discussion. Also, Lois, we were roomates at MMH at the time of the birth of your daughter Susan and our oldest, Diane...in fact this weekend is their birthdays. Perhaps our lives...
