Anne Foss

One of my fondest memories of Anne was when I had just taken up golf. I was trying to play a specified number of complete games in order to establish a handicap. Anne volunteered to play with me one Ladies' Day at Walter Hall Golf Course. The sky darkened, the rain fell, but Anne and I finished 18 holes. We were, of course, drenched to the skin and I really wondered if I should pursue the ball, much less the 'game!' Anne was a good sport, a fine person, and I know we all miss her.
