All of you have been in our prayers, and I just found out today that I missed the memorial service. I am so upset that I wasn't there.
Your mother was such a big part of our lives. Mama loved her like a sister - such good friends since their childhood on Government Street! I know they are reunited again and probably jumping rope and gossiping.
Miss Anne was such a wonderful friend who will live on through all of you and your children and grandchildren.
