Not sure what to say?

Mrs. Gaw was my 4th grade teacher at Sunset Lane and she encouraged me to become an avid reader, kind to my fellow students and that it was not only ok to be myself, but to be proud of being me. I still have my 4th grade copy of Where the Red Fern Grows that we read in her class. There is always that one teacher who believes in you and gives you the confidence to be the best version of yourself. For me, that teacher was Mrs. Gaw. Thank you Mrs. Gaw.

In my heart, I knew she had passed, but I didn't want to acknowledge it. Anne was so special to me. We were roommates at San Jose State College and reconnected when we both had children. I loved her. Monica Kirkland (Parenti)

So sorry for the passing of your mother and grandmother. I wish I had a picture of her so I could have put it in the Friends of the Library Newsletter. It so sad time goes by all too soon before we reallly get to know people. How interesting she did woodworking. I took classes in it but never knew others who liked it too. I would have loved to have talked to her about her hobby. How she will be missed.

I love you Mom

I cherish many happy memories of my friend,Anne. We met in Sunday School when we were first graders. Our friendship continued to the present. She even visited us at our home here in Washington State a few years ago. I will miss her. Ann Rawlins Gallagher

Anne was a great friend and a great teacher who cared about each one of her students. I was having trouble getting my boys to read. She said give them something they will enjoy, back then it was Mad Magazine. Today they are all avid readers and one is a high school teacher. Thank you Anne. Rest in peace...............
