But she had a reputation as a capable rare books librarian when I worked at the University of Texas several years ago. She will be remembered for all her good work.

Anne was a wonderful friend, a delightful conversationalist, a lover of literature and music, and one of the great Texas Democrats. I am certain her many friends already miss her a lot. I sure do.
