Not sure what to say?

Thanks to Helen Clements for pointing this out to me. I knew Anne through the Unitarian Fellowship, but regret to say I did not know her well. But she had a reputation as a capable rare books librarian when I worked at the University of Texas several years ago. She will be remembered for all her good work.

Anne was a wonderful friend, a delightful conversationalist, a lover of literature and music, and one of the great Texas Democrats. I am certain her many friends already miss her a lot. I sure do.

I'm saddened to hear of Anne's passing--I knew her while I was a student assistant at the Latin American Library. Later on, as I had an opportunity to know her better, and to appreciate her delightful sense of humor. Helen Clements, UT 1994
