Not sure what to say?

My deepest sympathy to all the family. Anne was a wonderful, beautiful cousin. She made me feel so welcome during my time in Oregon. Please email me. Heather Wolfe

I was the Principal at Markham Elementary School and had the pleasure to work with Anne as the Library Aide. Her dedication, hard work, love of children, and staff support made the Library and the school a special place. I have made a donation to the school library to honor her joyful presence there. I'm very sorry for you loss.

Dan and I did not have the honor of knowing Anne, but we know her through stories, reflections, and loving memories shared by her daughter, Hilary. Over time, Hilary has painted a beautiful picture of her mother - a person devoted to her children, her community, and who offered a lifetime of service, love, and care in the Portland Public School. If Hilary, as Anne's daughter, is a precious measure of a life well-lived, then Anne most certainly had a meaningful life that has left our world a...

Anne was our babysitter for all our childhood. We have the best memories from our time with her. I am a hippie through and through because of her. And oddly enough I have been a special ed teacher/autism specialist in PPS for over thirty years. Probably her influence there also and never realized it. She was so special to our family!!!

Ive knew Anne since I was born. She babysat my sister and I and was a part of our family. Heres a picture of her dressing up my sister. We are so sad to hear of her passing, but are grateful for all our finds memories with her.

We were friends since 1970, spent our years as young moms looking after each others babes, had far to few conversations after grandkids came along, I tried to get in touch on your birthday and again. My instinct was nagging at me...Then I heard the news. Im so sorry we didnt have 1 last conversation, but will forever remember all those fun times in high school and after. Love you dear friend! Di

As a teacher, I knew Ann as a mother of her daughters and she did a wonderful job.

We will all miss you Ann, your keen eye for the good in life and those you hold dear. Clyde, Heather,Hillary, and Michelle, you now get to carry on with that spirit and devotion that was Ann. It is with sorrow that I write this because I haven't been in touch for some time and realize what I missed. Love to you all, Mike Langtry.

Anne, you will be forever in our hearts and minds. As in Billy Joels song, Only the good die young. You were such a Warrior.
We will miss you for ever and ever,
Love, your Life Sister, Connie
