Sister Anne Bernard Kelly

Sister Anne, Bibi as she was known to her siblings was my mother's cousin. She and her brother Tom and I kept in touch after my Grandmother Stella's passing. I miss Bibi and Tom and their letters and news of all the other Kellys. Sister Anne gave her life in service to our Lord, and what a remarkable life she had.

Sister Anne Bernard was an angel. She inspired me to be a gentleman and respectful to all. She was my first grade teacher and friend. Over the years we would share a few words over the phone and reminisce of the good times at Saint Michael's. She was a remarkable lady. She spoke of her family all the time and loved her brother Tom so much. She really showed me how to love God and make him part of our daily lives that I didn't appreciate how she helped mold me into the man I am today. My...

Words cannot explain the pain I felt with her passing, sister anne was someone I always will look up to. She is a great aunt of strength, pride, and power. Three concepts I will always try to achieve. Although time has passed, she is always on my mind and the number one reason I love working at the school I am in. Love you sister anne!

I was extremely fortunate to have been one of Sister Anne's nieces. I am truely blest to have this wonderful woman in my daily life. She remembered each and every student that she taught and talked about them often. She left me with the greatest gift of all......The gift of faith. She will be missed so very much!!

I will always remember Sister Anne my favorite teacher ( Saint Agnes Paterson, NJ - First Grade - 1947 ).
I was fortunate to have kept in touch over the years with cards and visits to the Villa.
She was an early influence on me and instilled in me not only basic learning skills, bit also a great sense of spiritual values and respect for others.

Oh I am so saddened this day Sister of the news ..I was in the First grade 1971 St. Michaels' when you taught me,but Reading ,Writing and Spelling means nothing but the Spiritual principles that you taught me that I carry and live by even unto this day is of the Greatest Value.You will be surely missed but always be in spirit will I remember you..

Sr Ann was my cousin- my fathers's cousin- she was a very very kind person.

Sister Anne was such a wonderful friend to my family. She would sing songs to my children when they were young. She will be missed.

I was very fortunate to be one of Siser Anne' first grade students in St. Michael's, Jersey City. I have never forgotten her and never will.
