Not sure what to say?

I am heartbroken. Anne was a dear friend, mentor and former boss while I worked at UNICEF. I hadn't heard back from her after messaging her shortly before she passed and I feared that her illness had worsened. Anne was my hero. Steadfastly devoted to her values, to helping children, to viewing the world through rose colored glasses, and to optimism. She loved people, she loved life, and she taught me what it meant to be a true leader - to lead with love and wisdom. Please let me know if...

Wishing you much sympathy for the loss of Anne to Lois and family and other siblings. Joan Brinich

We will so miss seeing Anne on her trips back and forth to Lake Tahoe. Every year, first Anne and Ken, and then just Anne, would stop to visit us in our home in Nevada below Lake Tahoe and we would have delightful conversations about family, books, ideas, and every day life. Anne was warm-hearted, funny, and thoughtful. She found joy in people and in the small things overlooked by many. She was proud of her interesting family and proud that she took "the road not taken". Our deepest...

Anne took time to make so many people feel special and valued. I appreciated her taking me under her wing while I lived in California. She was a reliable communicator and enjoyed philosophical spiritual discussions. Anne talked about her siblings, children, other family and friends constantly and got very excited while doing so.

Although I didn't have an opportunity to know Anne well other than as one of our "Detroit Cousins", I am very sorry for your loss. She was obviously a very loving and caring person and was well loved in return. Although I don't recall knowing why, Anne was always "Skim milk Annie" to my sister Jackie. I'm sure Jackie had a huge smile when she saw Anne arrive in Heaven as well as being sure she'll still be "Skim milk Annie" to Jackie. Our love to all of our "Detroit Cousins"

As a child, I had many fond memories of going over to the Schreuder´s house and having a root beer float. Anne had her dad´s sense of humor, and us Klein kids enjoyed the jokes and ended up laughing through dinner at their house. Anne as I remember was always kind. I´m sorry I didn´t get to spend much time with her after each of us moved from home.

So sorry to hear about Anne, Schreuder cousins. Prayers for all of you!
