KOSSARAS, Anne E. – Of Fresno, California, formerly of Grand Blanc, age 95, died Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Ascension Crittenton Hospital in Rochester.



 



Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, August 6, 2018 at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 2245 East Baldwin Road, Grand Blanc.

Entombment at Crestwood Cemetery.



 



Those desiring may make contributions to either Assumption Greek Orthodox Church of Grand Blanc or St. George Greek Orthodox Church in Fresno, California.



 



Visitation 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road.



 



A Trisagion Service will be held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.



Anne was born in Garfield, Utah on October 31, 1922, the daughter of the late Andrew and Stella (Masulas) Panos. On November 4, 1945 she married Gus Kossaras in Gary, Indiana. She was a member of St. George Orthodox Church in California and past member of Assumption Greek Orthodox Church. She was a member of the Eastern Star, Daughter of Penelope and Philoptochos at both churches.



 



Surviving are daughter, Joanne and husband Bill Dau of Oxford;



 



son, Dean and wife Joyce Kossaras of Grand Blanc;



 



grandchild, Deanna Kossaras.



 



Gus and Anne were married for 67 years.



 



She was preceded in death by her husband, Gus, in 2012.
