Not sure what to say?

I remember living in Rumford Center and going over to the house with my Mom to visit. Melissa and I played for hours and I'm sure we managed to get ourself's in trouble more than once! We remain freinds to this day. I also remember how very lovely your wife was and I just loved to listen to her talk and laugh. She was a special Lady. Our thoughts are with you all.

Your mom was a beautiful lady Inside and Out!

I can not drive through Rumford Center without thinking of Mrs. Lapointe. She and her friend, Alice Ramey, used to ride their bicylces up to East Andover in the summer to visit my mom, Dolly Jones. She had the most wonderful outlook on life and the best laugh I've ever heard. She was one of the first women who taught me I didn't have to live life without being happy. The world is a sadder place without her. You and your families are in my prayers.

Melissa, I met your mom once at a party at your house. In the very brief time I spent chatting with her, she struck me as charming, funny and delightful. I wish you, your dad and all of your family all the best during this time.

Melissa and Steve, so sorry to hear about your mother. i remember your mother very well, she was always doing things for people around the village, My parents always enjoyed her and of course your dad. She helped make us laugh with her Brit accent.. But that was her. I was a honor to know her..

I'm so sorry for your loss.

What a nice obituary, lots about your mom I didn't know! Your mom was the first British person I ever met and I just loved hearing her accent. I remember, and my mom and dad also remember, I used to call your house, "Is Missy there?" and your mom would say "No, she's out..." and then proceed to have a half hour conversation with me about any subject you can think of! She was a great lady, and I know she will be missed.

Didn't know your Mom but I know that gal she brought up. Clearly she was a wonderful woman. S

Melissa I feel honored to have gotten to know your mom what a funny, lovely person she was . You and the boys have all been in our thoughts!
