Not sure what to say?

Dear Caroline, I was so sorry to hear of your mom's passing - at least a year after she passed my mother shared a clipping of her obituary. I had no way of reaching out to you. I'm so sorry. I did not know about this online way to connect at that time. We had several Christmas Eve meals together with you and your grandfather and once or twice with your Mom. Fond memories. I've often wondered where you are and what you are doing. I hope you can reach out to me. I have a photograph of at...

I followed Anne as a Youth For Understanding exchange student in 1963, staying with Viuda de Segura at her home on Alcala in Madrid. Mama, as she was known to me, told us wonderful stories of Anne's stay there. Clearly, Anne was her favorite - funny and brave. I regret never connecting with Anne to share our wonderful Madrid adventure. Deepest sympathy. Peggy H

Anne was a lady of wit and intellect and a delightful friend. We so enjoyed the times we spent with her -- she was irreverent in her humor but also a woman of deep faith. She is truly and warmly missed.

May the God of comfort be with you during this difficult time in your lives. We all yearn for better conditions. It's refreshing to know that God's word speaks of a time when all sorrows will be gone and that mankind will live in beautiful surroundings with nothing to fear.- Isaiah 65:17, 21-24.

I didn'tknow Anne but my father, Owen Grinde from Butte, Montana was one of the first students of Instructor Mike Mansfield's at the U of Montana in the 1933-4 time frame in History or Economics. Although Owen and Mike didn't share same political views they always respected each other and were proud of their Montana connections. My Dad, Owen, would now be 97; died in 1990. My Mom, Evelyn, a native of the Flathead Valley, just died Dec. 13, 2012 at 97 here at our Ohio home.

Dear Caroline, Please accept our family's condolences; your mother was very kind to me about my mother in Tokyo.

Anne, was a fun person. Anne traveled daily to and from Marymount with my sister Sally and me. We had some fun conversations. Anne will be remembered in our prayers.

Hope to meet Caroline some day. Lots of stories about your Mum, Grandma, Grandad and Uncle Terry. We grew up together. Anne was always very kind to me when we were little. Sorry to have lost contact with her. Hope to meet.
Much love and prayers,

May family and friends find comfort in precious memories as well as the promise of a brighter future. Ps. 37:9-11
