Dear family, All my condolences and sympathy. My husband,now passed away, was Lochner Eksteen,and Anne-Marie was his cousin. We knew her well and Lochner always had a soft spot for her. After her move to America he would speak of her fondly. His mother was Anne-Marie's aunt, and he made sure that she wrote regularly to Anne-Marie. He was very pleased that our daughter,Anda, went to meet Anne-Marie in 1988 and could therefore keep the family contact. All my love

I am so sad to have write this, but to have known Tannie Anne-Marie, made my family and my life so much richer. Your love and care for your family in the USA and South-Africa were unconditional and ran deep. You touched us all in a very special way and will never be forgotten.
