Not sure what to say?

The loss of my dearest friend and colleague has been devastating. It is a profound grief. I loved Anne. We met as teachers at Newport High School. She loved teaching and delivered her subject area with brilliance, enthusiasm and creativity. She loved her students and her students loved her! She was kind, compassionate and generous to a fault and you were always welcome in her home. She was an amazing wife, mother and grandmother to her beautiful family whom she adored and cherished. It...

I had the pleasure of being best friends with Anne for years, when I lived in Newport. Anne was the smartest and most creative woman I have ever known. A kind and compassionate person, with a keen interest in many aspects of spirituality, history, science and the arts, there was never a lull in our conversations. Her home and garden were places of beauty that oozed her many faceted self. Above all else though, Anne loved her children (and grandchildren, no doubt). Her nurturing was a joy to...

Dear Miller family, Please accept my condolences for you, Larry and your children and grandchildren and any other family members and loved ones. I was in Girl Scouts with Anne. Her mom, Mrs. Granzow, was our leader. We had a lot of fun during our meetings and outings. Mrs. Granzow´s creativity and Anne´s bright personality were huge reasons why I enjoyed Girl Scouts. Anne was also in all of my classes from seventh grade through graduation at LD. She sparked joy in each class we shared. ...

I had Mama Miller for a short amount of time in school, but she impacted me greatly. She was a wonderful lady, and brought much light to my highschool career.

Dear Larry, Sybil, Peter, Alex and Kathryn I am so sorry to read of Anne's passing. I came across it quite by accident and I am just devastated. I have been away from home since Feb, in rehab. I can't walk and am waiting another surgery or I would be there on Saturday. I am so upset that I can't be there. I loved Anne so much. I hadn't seen her in awhile and I really missed her. We had lots of good times together. Please accept my deepest condolences. Love to you all and God bless you...

Our children loved Mrs. Anne Miller! She loved them like they were her own kids. They always had a funny or unique story to share about her or topics in her English class. She was a sweet gentle soul who has touched many lives in a positive way at Newport HS! We will miss you Mrs. Miller. Rest easy. Our deepest condolences to her family.

I remember Mrs. Miller very well. She was a very kind, energetic, and loving teacher. I remember her passion to teach about the holocaust and reading the diary of Anne Frank in her class. I also loved taking her ghost walks in Newport when I was a student years ago. I was very sad to hear this today from my family. She will be deeply missed. Her teachings and compassion will always be remembered by me. She has touched the lives of many students. Prayers and healing to the family at this time....

May your memories of the wonderful times you shared with your loved one comfort you and your family, today and always.

I remember Anne while she attended Lower Dauphin. Quite the thespian! So outgoing and gracious. God be with her Family and Friends, during this time. I am So Sorry for your loss. Becky ( Hughes) Holey
