Dear Anne and Betsy,
Give my thoughts and prayers for comfort to all of your family. I have been the Parish Nurse at 2nd Pres. in Knoxville for the past two years. Although your Mom had already moved to live nearer to family when I came, everyone here held her in great revere, as she was so interesting and quick witted.
I had called several times to check on her and sent cards for her special days. I am sorry not to have known her better.

Mrs. Modlin was an absolutely wonderful member of the Andrew Bogle Chapter DAR. All of us looked forward to her attending because she was always very, very happy and always found something good to say about everything. She was so much fun.
