Sandy,
I want to thank you for your very kind words on your experience with my mother so many years ago. She had not changed at all until 6 years ago when she started falling and breaking various bones, etc. But she remained mentally tough and inquisitive almost to the end. She enjoyed teaching and we have heard some wonderful stories about her days at Norwood High School that will keep reminding us of her great love of life. Thanks again from her sons, Fred and Dave.

Mrs. O'Brien was my all time favorite teacher. I remember her fondly. She had such determination. She handled everything with grace and humor. She made sure that the day didn't go by where you didn't learn something whether inside the classroom or out. I can still see her calling my name in the hall with that glint in her eye, knowing something was up, but realizing I'd be laughing as I left. My sincere condolences to her family.
