Not sure what to say?

On this one year anniversary Anne your wonderful smile and always optimistic personna is greatly missed; as well as your clarinet playing in so many organizations. Your memory lives on. Karla Linkner (a fellow clarinet player)

I met Anne 20 years ago in Procida, Italy at a chamber music workshop we both attended. She attended it nearly every year, including when it moved to Ischia. As a fellow clarinetist, I really enjoyed getting to know her and playing Mendelssohn and other wonderful clarinet works in Italy with her. I remember her telling me that one time at airport security she was told to take her clarinet out of the case and play it, to prove she was not a terrorist! God bless her.

What a unique person.

From Left to Right: Carol Ormand, her Mother-in-Law Merilyn Childre and Ann Ormand on the right Christmas in Greendale Wisconsin. Great Memories of that visit.

What an accomplished person. I had no idea. I was glad to have known her as my brothers mother-in-law.

Anne was a longtime active member of the Ann Arbor Recorder Society. She had a lot of musical friends. She had not played for many years but continued to enjoy the monthly reminders about meetings. She invited us to lunch at the nursing home where she had moved. Anne was an avid biker and when age insisted, she got a new trike. We ran into her on her old bike (we bike everywhere), and then in the neighborhood on her new bike, and took a few photos of her practicing on the trike in a...

I met Anne many years ago when she joined the Dexter Community Band. Anne was such a vibrant person who always lived life with gusto. Anne shared her numerous musical talents with many groups. Anne is part of many happy memories for me (two DCB European trips, numerous concerts and many laughs rehearsing and performing with our wind quintet, "The Frequently Flawless Five" thusly named by Anne.) Dexter Community Band will honor Anne at their concert this Sunday (Nov. 12, 2023). Per the...

Anne, You will truly be missed. I loved having you as my landlord and friend.

Anne became a family member more than 30 years ago when she married my father Zoltan. Over the years, I spend many vacation days with them during my visits to Ann Arbor and our joint vacation trips south to Hilton Head Island. Anne was a fun and enthusiastic person with whom to spend time. I will remember her fondly.
