Anne Durr Palmer

Dear girls of Anne Goldwaithe, I have just heard that she had died. I am so sorry for your loss. What a gem she was! Always in my memory so kind and positive with a twinkle not just in her eye...a warm and twinkling energy . I have a picture of some of you in Birmingham as children. We loved "Aunt" Anne so much and will miss her spark, candor, and kindness. Though she isn´t the last of that generation of Durrs, I can´t help but feel that we´ve crossed a threshold with Anne´s passing. Our mother Elia´s maid of honor and sister she never had, the rest is now up to us to carry on! All our love to the Palmers and Durrs who mourn this loss, "Jimmie" Buck
