Not sure what to say?

She was one of the greatest & most memorable ladies I have ever met. Smart and stylish, yes, but her spirit and generosity were her greatest attributes, along with her intense devotion to her family. She is no doubt missed by so many.

Radiant Anne

I thank my God upon every remembrance of you. –Philippians 1:3.

Anne was radiant, a beautiful person from the inside out. She was a bright light, so bright it was blinding. She exuded Koolness. A highly intelligent woman who never put on airs (Romans 12:3), never corrected other people or put them down for having an opinion. Anne was a good listener and genuinely valued what you had to say. Anne never discriminated against anyone for the color of their skin, ethnicity, social status,...

Ed, my deepest condolences.

Anne was an unexpected mix of Garbo and Gaga.: chic, elegant, dressed impeccably one day, appearing the next with a messy pony tail perched atop her head, dingy and unkempt. But she was balanced on the highest shoe Manolo could design worn with a pair of almost-white gym socks, elastic having expired years ago. Quirky and unpredictable, she was presciently donning the next season's hit look.

As cheerful as these images are to me, mostly I cherish Anne's generosity. It was...

I knew Anne in high school only. I'm so pleased she took all of her brilliance and gave it to others throughout her career and life.

Anne was an amazing woman, mother, grandmother and friend and to think I started out as her daughter's friend but grew to Love Anne so much. She was spunky, beautiful and always looked amazing. She always made sure that everything was perfect for everyone else whether at a bbq at her house or a dinner party. She always made me feel beautiful and made sure to complement my style.
She is that cool mom, that I hope to be to my children someday. The mom that my daughter's friends will like to...

As a returning student to Foothill College in my 40's to pursue my love of British Literature, I was privileged to meet Anne and later take her Honors English class. I can safely say that Anne was one of my life's most influential teachers - conveying passion, rigor, intellect, humor, and stunning beauty both in and out of class.
She took me to see the Opera Dr. Faustus in SF. and out to a lovely dinner which was so much fun. Anne was to me also a model of inimitable style, blending...

Forty years ago, I signed up for a literature course taught by Ann. She was an awesome instructor who
stretched my critical thinking and left me wanting more knowledge.

My heartfelt condolences to Anne's family
