Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to learn of Anne's passing. She was a great friend to my Aunt, Mary McCargar, and looked after Mary in the earlier years when she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease. I first met Anne in the 60's when visiting my grandparents in upstate New York, she and Mary took us to the Thousand Island's and over to Canada site seeing. Again in the 80's I had the pleasure of her company when I accompanied her and Mary to Saratoga one summer. Although Anne didn't go with Mary and myself...

Anne had never missed my birthday since the day I was born (64 years ago) or my anniversary since the day I was married (35 years ago). I've called her many times recently and didn't want to believe this was the reason there was no answer. I checked the obits and couldn't believe I missed it. My brother and sister-in-law found out and just told me. I considered Anne to be my godmother - My middle name is Anne, for her. She worked for my mother and father for many years and remained a blessed...

May she rest in peace. I bet she has all the statistics now.

Anne was a loving, caring person, best remembered by her witty saying, "I'm vertical!" (when I would phone her). She loved our trips to the Farmer's Market, our cousin's luncheons and looking up our ancestors. I'll always remember Anne by her signature...the strawberry. Peace is yours, Anne ...you're in God's hands. Anne will be remembered in a Novena of Masses on Christmas Day.

Anne was a wonderful person; so good to so many people. Loved her stories; she was so kind and loving - always! She will always be in our hearts and remembered fondly.

Anne came to the libraries for information but she gave me the best travel advice: don't pack more than you can carry by yourself for 5 city blocks. Practical, independent, gracious and willing to share, Anne was a lovely person to know. Elizabeth Dailey (Syracuse, NY)

So sorry to learn of my cousin's death. I have many of Aunt Clara's Christmas cookie recipes. If anyone is interested please contact me through Mike Mautz.

Mardy, Karen, Tommy, Mary Beth,
Aunt Anne was an absolutely wonderful woman, full of spunk, kindness, patience and most of all, she really loved her family. She went without so she could provide for family. Anne will be greatly missed, and her sly sense of humor will be remembered by all. God Bless you Anne! We'll be thinking of you always. Be at peace.

Tom and family - I was sad to read about your loss! I knew your aunt veryw ell as she ahd helped me for many years with my research into the Kirsch Family history. Her recollection of events from 'way back' was awesome. I will miss her!
