Dear Campbell, Rebekah, Rachel, Polly, Peter, Peter, Nol and family,
I just learned of Nanny's death--dear Aunt Nanny. The last time I saw her was a good few years ago at the retirement home. I loved how she was living there—a ground floor unit so she could garden right outside, and a whole room devoted to all the wonderful fiber arts I so fondly remember in your house. Rob and I are so sad to read this. What a great woman and great family! I am not sure Aunt Ruthie knows. She will be so sad. We called Nanny on Aunt Ruthie's 89th Dec. 31st -from her current Ledgewood Rehab room near Brooksby using my cell phone. My love to the whole family. Annie Simonds Clifford

Anne was a wonderful friend, always giving a helping hand when stuck with a knitting problem. Her learning retention was phenomenal. I shall miss her waving to me when I walk by her apartment.
