I feel blessed that I had the opportunity to meet Anne while working at Dartmouth Medical School. Anne had an infectious laugh and always made people feel so welcome. I remember going to Peter and Anne's home to pick up a faculty candidate and finding Anne and the candidate's wife sitting outside under the beautiful flowering vines while a dozen or more hummingbird's waged a territorial battle over their heads.
