Not sure what to say?

On the first anniversary of Anne’s passing, we pause to remember a life of faith, kindness, and quiet strength. Anne’s gentle spirit and generosity of heart continue to be a guiding light and inspiration to those she left behind.
May her soul rest in eternal peace, embraced by the love of God.

Mrs. Slater was a fantastic teacher. I had her for English Literature and her love of the subject came through in her teaching. My condolences to her family.

Dear Tom and Family,
Our heartfelt sympathy to all of you on the loss of such a very special loved one. I had the privilege of working with Anne and learning from her during our many years together at FCC. We served on numerous committees together, had offices on the same hallway and often "commiserated" about the state of whatever happened to be going on at the college throughout our time together. Anne was the consummate professional, demanding the best from her students while...

Anne was my supervisor as an instructor at FCC. I learned so much from her, and she led with firmness, style and grace. An absolutely wonderful person, I was honored to call her a friend.

Slater family and friends of Anne, please accept my condolences. Anne was a pioneer in so many ways, it was an honor to know her. She was one of my mom’s dearest friends, and she was such a good friend to her. Anne has fans everywhere. A truly amazing human!

I had the privilege of having Mrs. Slater as my English teacher at Brunswick High School. She was determined to prepare the students in the class for college. I'm sorry I was never able to tell her that no one prepared me more for college than she did. She was a truly dedicated educator. My heartfelt condolences to her family and friends as they celebrate her remarkable life.

Sending sincere condolences to Tom and the family. Anne was a treasured member of the Zonta Club Frederick, and we will all miss her loving sisterhood.

What a great life. Such a great person who helped so many people. Our condolences. Marianne and Arthur Schneider.
