Anne Smith

My name is Lisa Ferrigno. I am the granddaughter of Yole and Al Ferrigno and daughter of Larry Ferrigno. My grandparents lived on Elizabeth Street near the Smith family. Each time I would visit my grandparents I always made sure that I could walk down to see Anne and John Smith. My father and my aunt, Patricia Ferrigno Loew, always had such great stories about the Smith family. I am so happy that I was able to spend time with Anne and John. My condolences to all of the Smith family. I will always remember your mom as a loving kind individual. I have missed seeing your dad and her outside as we dismiss the students at St.Philip.

Our families were pretty close with all the kids growing up on Elizabeth Street. Anne was always someone who cared. Her love of her children was so strong and although over the years I would only see her occassionally, she made me feel like we had met every day. I'll think of her often.

Smith Family - Anne was a very special lady with a warm heart and smiling personality. She was the last of the Noe Valley neighbors to pass - now the big "block party in the sky" has begun & you can be sure there is laughter, hugs, kisses,and dancing as they are now all together again. We are all left with fond memories to cherish.
