Not sure what to say?

To Zook Sutton and family, Mike and Carol Horan and family extend our deepest sympathy on the loss of your wife and Mom.
Knowing the Smiths since 1934 was knowing the greatest and kindest folks in the world. I thank the good Lord that I called "Annie" shortly before her passing and reminisced with her about all the good times. Annie told me that she truly felt she would be able to attend a small reunion of a few high school classmates in a month or so.
We will indeed miss her....

Dear happy "Annie" really gone? was my sad question to one of our classmates when he called with the unhappy news. Memories came flooding back of happier times as teen agers growing up in the (then) small town of Carson City--Our High School graduation ceremony in June, 1948, Sunday services at St. Peters small "New England style" Episcopal Church, several years of High School hijinx and "sophomoric"fun, later reunions of the class of 48, memories, memories, ...

To Judge Sutton and her...

Auntie Anne was my godmother, my namesake, and my Mom's best friend. It was always a special treat to visit Auntie Anne when I was young. She always made things fun and magical. I have fond memories of our all meeting in the City (S.F), and going to the Gump's cafeteria for Monte Cristos and magnificent ice cream creations. Holidays at the Suttons were a highlight of my childhood. Anne and Zook created a beautiful, warm, festive home, full of enchantment and love, and plenty of nature...

I send my family's heartfelt sympathy to the entire Sutton family. What a great life Anne had!

Love from the Scaglione Family

To all of the Sutton Family, I just want to let you know that you are all in my thoughts through this hard time. Anne was such a beautiful person and she will live on through all that knew her. If there is anything at all that I can do for you, please let me know. My thoughts are with you all.

I only met Anne a few times but I am friends with her son John and sister-in-law Liz and have seen what a powerful impact she has had on their lives. I share their sorrow in her passing
