Anne Elizabeth Lindsay Lintz Twedt, 51 of Ames died on Monday, February 25, 2013 at her Ames home. Memorial services will be held 10:30 a.m. on Friday, March 8 in the St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1110 11th Street in Nevada with Father Rick Dagit officiating. Burial of the cremains will follow in the St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery.

Anne was born on April 25, 1961 at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. She attended Collins-Maxwell School and graduated in 1979 from Roland-Story. Anne was employed with 3M for over 30 years.

Anne is survived by her mother Janet (McFadden) Lintz of Nevada; two brothers Monty (Brenda) Lintz of Nevada and Lewis (Lisa) Lintz of Des Moines; two sisters Alexis Reeves (Don Johnson) of Des Moines and Kimberley (Dennis) Heintz of Nevada; nine nieces and nephews Elijah Harmon, Israel (Brandy) Walker, Rebekkah (Lance) Harding, Adam Heintz, Joseph Heintz, Mallory (Josh) Lankford, Justin Lintz, Douglas Lintz, and Wade Lintz; two great nieces; three great nephews; and one great nephew expected.

Anne was preceded in death by her father Leonard George Lintz on March 9, 1997, and her grandparents.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. again at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church.

A memorial fund has been established in loving memory of Anne for the Ames Animal Rescue League or the St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery.

Chet Ryan Mortuary in Nevada has been entrusted with the care of Anne and her family.

I had the pleasure of working with Annie as we called her she was a fun loving character. She was an extremely hard worker but knew how to pace herself and others. I´ll never forget her in her Christmas outfit one year she was the hostess w/ the mostest we all went up to sporty´s after an over night shift fun was had by all!
