Anne Weisenberger John's Island, SC - Entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 16, 2011, Anne Goodwin Turbeville Weisenberger, wife of David Harold Weisenberger of John's Island, SC. Anne was born on September 26, 1945 in Charleston, SC, a daughter of Cordie W. and Caroline Dameron Turbeville and attended St. Andrew's High School. Anne, a native of Charleston, was a former beautician at Marionette Beauty Shop that was formerly established on Wentworth Street. Shortly after having her only child she spent most of her life as a homemaker, dedicated to her family. In later years she enjoyed working at The Links at Stono Ferry golf course for 16 wonderful years. Here is where she had the privilege of meeting so many people that became her extended family and dearest friends. She was a member of the James Island Christian Church and will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, sister and friend. Anne is survived by her Husband, David Weisenberger, her Son and daughter-in-law, Bobby and Kristen Weisenberger, Twin Sister and Brother-in-law, Carol and Warren Herndon, her Brother and Sister-in-law, Cordie and Lois Turbeville, Jr. and their children Cordie Turbeville III and Michelle Nolan, her Nephew and his spouse, Steve and Alexis Herndon, their children Joel, Elin, and Sean, Nephew and spouse Paul and Laura Herndon and their child Donovan, Brother-in-law and spouse Paul and Jacky Weisenberger and their children Travis and Aaron,Sister-in-law Rosemary Mayo and her child Lisa Forsythe, and extended family. The relatives and friends of Mr. and Mrs. David H.Weisenberger are invited to attend the funeral service for the latter at 10:30 AM, Monday, December 19, 2011 at the graveside, Old St. Andrew's Episcopal Churchyard. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon between 4:00 and 6:00 PM at the James A. McAlister Funeral Home, 1620 Savannah Highway. David,Bobby and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I have not seen you guys in so long and did not know that Anne was sick. What I remember of Anne she was a very sweet and kind person. We bowled together way back when. Had lots of fun. Take care.

david, bobby &family we are so sorry for your loss . anne was a wonderful christian friend. she was always there helping others even during her illiness always had that big smile and hello even though i am sure some days were more than she could tolerate. we loved her dearly and we were blessed to call her friend. god bless you all love bobbie n donnie squires
