Heaven received a beautiful and special angel. Annelise Quinlan Highley, born on March 4, 1957 of Boca Raton passed away unexpectedly at her home on January 9, 2014. Annelise was the daughter of Clarence N. Quinlan, Jr and Rosanne Ryan Quinlan, and the sister of Michael Ryan Quinlan whom preceded her in death. Three brothers, Terrence, Milton, FL, Clarence Quinlan II, Kevin Quinlan, her in-laws, Charles C. Highley, Jr. and Diane B. Highley, Fort Lauderdale, and numerous nieces and nephews survive Annelise.

Her loving children, Lauren A. Highley, Boca Raton and Charles Corson Highley, III, Auburn University, Auburn, AL, and husband Charles Highley will sadly and forever miss Annelise. Patty, her devoted Jack Russell terrier, will miss Annelise.

Annelise was a loving, unselfish, and a beautiful woman. She was a devoted and loving Mom who was extremely proud of the young adults her children have become. Annelise was truly an angel who was loved by all who knew her.

Annelise was born in Fort Walton Beach, FL. She graduated from Choctawhatchee High School where she was a cheerleader and avid sailor. Annelise received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics with a double minor in Accounting and Finance from Auburn University.

Annelise worked several years in the securities market and was Vice-President of Marketing for KSM Sales & Marketing. She was also a Florida licensed General Contractor. Annelise left corporate America to do the job she loved most, being a Mom to Lauren and Cory. After her children went off to school, she decided to go back as well. Annelise pursued her passion in the science world and received her Professional Science Master, Business Biotechnology from Florida Atlantic University. She was excited and looking forward to starting her new career.

Annelise loved cooking, sewing, skiing, reading, and the outdoors. Annelise was also devoted to watching her favorite TV channel, The Food Network. She was an avid tennis fan and tennis player. She loved sports, but her favorite team, bar none, was her beloved Alma Mater the Auburn Tigers. On game day she would proudly shout out or text her family and friends, WAR DAMN EAGLE!

Annelise's legacy will be her two beautiful children, Lauren and Cory. She was a dynamic, caring and beautiful person with an enormous heart with so much love to give. She is with God's angels watching over and protecting her children from the heavens above.

I did not know Annelise had passed, until today. I wanted to send my condolences and prayers for all who loved her. I'm so sorry for you loss.

We were so very saddened to hear about the passing of your beloved Annelise. We can't imagine the sadness and loss you are all going through, and we send our thoughts, prayers and sincere condolences to you all.

I met Annelise my first day at Meigs and have never laughed as much at someone's crazy antics since that year in 1971! She was always so full of life and spread smiles wherever she went.....guess she continued that pattern throughout her lifetime! My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.....I know she will be watching over you!!

Mom,
There are no words to describe how much I will miss you. You were my best friend and I love you with all of my heart. I wouldn't be who I am today without you. You are my heart and soul. I love you forever and ever and ever. Please watch over me and Cory. I love you mommy.

Went to Meigs & Choctaw with Annelise, had some good times-praying peace & comfort on her family as they cope with such a great loss.

Annelise:
Our journey began at Auburn and continued on through life's ups and downs. I will always remember your smile. Fond memories of a wonderful person. My thoughts and prayers are with the family as they cope with their sad loss.

She always had a smile that could brighten any room she walked in to. A beautiful person, loved by all that met her.
