BAILEY, Ms. Annette- age 54, passed away Friday, April 24, 2015 at Medilodge of Grand Blanc. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Tuesday, May 5, 2015 with a 10:30 family hour at United Missionary Baptist Church 6440 Clio Rd. Flint, MI 48504. Pastor Willie Towner officiating. The final resting place for Ms. Bailey will be Gracelawn Cemetery, Flint, MI. Calling hours are 10:00 am - 6:00 pm Monday, May 4, 2015 at Serenity Funeral Chapel.
Ms. Annette Bailey was born December 2, 1960 in Flint, MI the daughter of Charles (Angie L.) Bailey, Sr. She was a life long resident of Flint and a member of United Missionary Baptist Church. Ms. Bailey attended Flint Community Schools, graduating from Northwestern High School. Previously she worked at Denny's Restaurant for 11 years. Her hobbies included watching tv, listening to gospel music and attending church. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends.
Ms. Annette Bailey leaves to cherish her memory: 2 sons, Cortez D. Bailey, Deshawn O'Neal Bailey; Lakida Smith whom she thought of as a daughter; 9 grandchildren, Kama'Riona Bailey, Ahanasti Palmer, Deshawn Perry, Deon Perry, Christian Perry, Lashay Chambers, Quinn Bailey, Damien and Sashaylee Bailey; 1 great-grandchild; 2 friends that she thought of as sisters, Linda Smith, Cheryl Barnes; 1 brother, Charles Bailey, Jr.; 4 nieces, Nivala Bledsoe, Q'Yara A. Thompasionnas, Fathana D. Hines, Kyanah A. Hines; 2 nephews, Charles Bailey III, Kyetel K. Hines; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins; sister-in-law, Deshaun L. Bailey.
Ms. Bailey was preceded in death by: her parents, Charles and Angie L. Bailey.
