Not sure what to say?

"Mrs. Baker" inspired me to pursue a degree in Business Education at Akron U. I used the IOE skills she taught me to work my way through college. I ended up changing to a Nursing degree, and have worked the past 18 years as a hospice nurse. Seeing she was under hospice care makes me feel good to know she was lovingly cared for at the end of her valuable life. She made a difference in mine. Laura Hukill Alexoff from Garfield Class of '75

The Ward family send our condolences to the Baker family.
We all went to Garfield and some of us had Mrs. Baker for our teacher. She was a very kind and caring teacher.
May God give you the strength during this difficult time.

Mrs Baker was my teacher at Garfield. She was always professional and made sure her "girls" were prepared for the future. I learned a lot of skills in her program that still help me today. I have a very good job at Goodyear, and owe it all to the training I received from the IOE program at Garfield. Mrs Baker was a great lady. My prayers are with the family.

Grandma Baker will always live in our thoughts and memories. She was a loving and gentle grandmother, who always had a kind word of advice. I have fond childhood memories of being with her, she will be greatly missed.

She was one of my teachers at Garfield . What a sweet lady . She is with her Saviour now . praying for comfort for her family .

So sorry to see this. Mrs. Baker was my IOE teacher at Garfield. We had such a fun time in her class and the utmost respect for her. May she rest in peace. Thoughts and prayers to the family of this wonderful lady.

To the Family,

Mrs. Baker was a truly fun and wonderful teacher. She was my BOE teacher when I was in the 11th grade (Garfield graduate of 1970). I started as a secretary at Firestone T&R that next Monday immediately after graduation. She enabled me to be qualified for that job by giving me an excellent foundation in the secretarial field.

May you have comfort in knowing that she is resting in God's arms. May God keep you during this time. Our loss is Heaven's gain!

Offering our deepest condolences during this time.

Rest in peace, Mom. I will miss you. May you find comfort in your memories, Lynne, David and Donald. Praying for you.
