I taught with Annette during the early years of my teaching career. She was truly the most amazing teacher I have ever known. I just learned tonight through a U of R publication of her passing. I am now a professor at UW Madison, the top ranked school of education in the country and I can honestly say that she had a greater impact on my life as an educator than anyone else. All my best to her family and thank you Annette for everything you shared! I would not be here without you!
