Not sure what to say?

Today I was driving down the road on yet another normally busy day when I saw a Jeep out of the corner of my eye. Looking at the driver from behind, it dawned on me it was Mike, Annette's husband. I sped up to say Hello, in my happy excitement, I rolled down my window and hollerd "Hay Mike, it's me Richard, Jenny's husband. How are you and Annette? I haven't seen you guys in so long!" To my shock you told me Annette was dead. My smile dissappeared and my heart sank like a boulder in water....

Dear Mark, Luke and Cody,
Annette was the first true friend I met when I moved to Greensboro from Michigan. During my divorce, she helped me get an apartment at Lake Brandt. Because of her support and encouragement, I was able to keep living in Greensboro. Years later, I found new love and a new life. Richard and I both feel that Annette's help during my time of need made it possible for us to meet and have a new baby. I want you to know that because Annette treated me as a friend...

Henderson Men,
Boy did we share some good times together at Lake Brandt! GO HOKIES! I am very sad to hear of Annette's passing. It was just last year this time that we reunited and had lots of fun and laughs. Mark, Cody, and Luke your mother was a generous, caring, and devoted friend, wife, and mother. She will be missed, but never forgotten. You all are in my prayers now and always!

Cody,

Our family has only known you and your Mom for the past year or so, but we want you to know of our sorrow, nonetheless, at your tragic loss.

Your mom was truly a generous soul, who I delighted to work with and
watch in action at Battle Forest and GCY swim meets. She was an
enthusiastic encourager of all the kids on your teams, and was so proud
of you, as she cheered you on.

We just returned from a two week trip up north, but the news spread to us even in...

Mark, Cody, & Luke,
You are in our thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Annette will be missed by us all. She had such a passion for life and cared so deeply for others. We hope you can take comfort in knowing that you have a special guardian angel to watch over you now. May you find strength in the knowledge that many loved her and that many love you. We will keep you in our thoughts and hold you in our hearts.

Love,

Angie, Jim, & Paige Stewart
