Annette S. Jones departed this life November 7, 2002. She is survived by her husband, Reginald E. Jones; a son, Anthony Starks; two daughters, Tasia Catherine and Rejeana Darlene Jones; two grandsons, Tyshon and Antonio Starks; a devoted mother, Rose M. Starks; father, David Starks Sr.; stepmother, Carolyn Starks of Ohio; two brothers, Clesson Cato of Germany and David Starks Jr.; four sisters, Priscilla Cato, Christine Gibson, Susan Starks of Ohio and June Prieto of New York; mother-in-law, Catherine Jones; daughter-in-law, Tamika Starks; three sisters-in-law, Daisy Jones, Monica Cato and Marlene Starks; three brothers-in-law, Sylvester Murchison, Robert E. Jones and Jose Prieto; 10 aunts, one devoted, Marsha Allen; five uncles; three nieces, Janae Covington, Lori and Alaina Prieto; six nephews, Christopher Gibson, Andy Cato, David Starks III, Rob Hudson, Roderick and Ronald Jones; a special cousin, Carmen Cato; four devoted friends, Dee Gordon, Gladys McKithen, Patricia Smith and Robert Smith; a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at the Carlton T. Brooks Funeral Home, 2200 Hull St. Funeral services will be held 12 noon, November 14, 2002 at Mosby Memorial Baptist Church, 2901 Mechanicsville Tnpk. Remains will lie in state 11 a.m. Rev. Barry T. Jones officiating. Interment Maury Cemetery. Family and friends attending service assemble 11:30 a.m. at the church. Family requests to omit flowers and instead make donations in her name, Annette S. Jones, to MCV Liver Transplant Unit, 1202 E. Marshall St., Richmond, Va. 23298.
