Not sure what to say?

Dear Denny, Vernie, Lynn,Kevin and Laurie and all other friends and family of Annette,
I was so sad to hear the news. I will always think fondly of Annette for her sense of humor, her laugh and the for the words of wisdom she often shared with the neighborhood kids. We could confide in her things we couldn't tell our own parents and know that she would listen and understand. I admire her and the family for their devotion to Vernie and I know that she will be greatly missed. Take care...

Annette touched my life in a very special way. She is the grandmother of my children, and a very special one at that. She was always there for my boys (Kevin Jr., Sean & Mitchell). I will always have a very special place in my heart for her and she will be greatly missed by me and my children. My prayers and thoughts to all Annette's family and friends.

I was 5 years old when Annette and Denny moved to Roseville. She was one of those women who watched out for all of the children on the block. I remember there were always kids at her house. We had so much fun. She really must have loved children to put up with our gang. Annette welcomed you and made you feel at home. She was always cheerful. I can still see her smile and hear her laugh. She taught me a lot as I was growing up and was always there with good advice. We used to have some long,...

Annette was a great lady and funny as all get out. I remember from Girl Scouts the many times she would come over to help out. The family will be in our prayers.

I remember Mrs McDowell as the best lunch mother around. From K through graduation she has always been a second mother to me. My thoughts and prayers go to Mr (Denny) and the "kids". Much love and sympathy,
Dave Burchett and family.

Bill and I have been a neighbor for 31 years. Annette was the first friendly neighbor we met when we moved in. My kids loved Annette as they were growing up because she was always the fun mom on the block. Because of the fun things she allowed her kids to do, like soap windows on devil's night,(I remember my son saying "Wow, what a cool mom, Kevin is so lucky) I learned to be a more relaxed mom and learned how to "let kids be kids". Billy and Jennie benefited a lot from what I learned from...
