Annette (Salois) Otis, age 84, of Somerset, wife of the late Joseph R. Otis, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. Born in Fall River, she was a daughter of the late George and Leda (Cayer) Salois. She was employed by Firestone during WWII and then as a seamstress for the former Trina before retiring in 1978. In her younger days, she enjoyed architect, drawing designs, dancing and going to the movies. Mrs. Otis is survived by a son, Paul Otis of Somerset, MA; a daughter, Diane A. Ormerod & husband Ronald of N. Attleboro, MA; a sister, Jeannette Salois of Fall River; two grandchildren, Jocelyn Ormerod and Timothy Ormerod, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Robert Otis and sister of the late Wilfred Salois, Loretta Longshaw and Ida King. Mrs. Otis' funeral will be held on Friday, January 11, 2013 at 8:45AM from the BOULE FUNERAL HOME, 615 Broadway, Fall River, MA, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00AM in St. Patrick's Church, 306 South Street, Somerset. Interment will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery, Somerset, MA. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:00PM to 7:00PM.
