Annette Lee Scott ( Sissy) 60, Passed away on Palm Sunday April 5th,2020 at home in Miami Florida of natural causes. She was Loved and died in her husband Joey's arms. Sissy was born in Detroit Michigan on January 29th 1960, The daughter of the late Davis Lee Scott and Rebecca Pettry Scott ( love )
Sissy, was her nick name since birth, She was first called Sissy by her older brother Dennis Scott when she was just a baby home from the hospital. Dennis was two and was expecting her as a Christmas Present. Sissy who's always Sunny, fun time personality and never ending love especially for children and her family, was a gift to us all. She was affectionately called Sissy by all who knew and loved her.
She was raised in Indianapolis Indiana, went to Manual high school on the South side of Indianapolis. She grew up swimming in the summer and camp fire's with singing and sledding in the winter at Garfield park. She loved singing and was always getting everyone to join in. Sissy made more friends than could be counted, because of her personality no one could be a stranger for long. She loved going skating, softball and volleyball. She was always on a team, for a long time with her friend we called Katie the can stomper.
She was a real girl scout, spent summers going to camp, riding horses and canoeing, she was always up for working hard doing fund raisers for a worthy cause. She loved horses and all animals especially dogs, whom she called her children.
Her baby boy Dingo who is a beautiful brindle colored boxer is missing her today and has been looking for her. She knew pretty much everyone in her neighborhood because she walked him twice a-day and as she put it, she was his Mommy.
When Sissy was 17 years old she moved to Miami Florida where she continued her high school and college classes. Though she never believed it, she was absolutely beautiful and was a model for a short time.
She loved working in her garden and cooking, she had a gift as gourmet chef and Baker. Sissy and husband Joey worked hard with their business as a team catering seafood, special gourmet and bakery dishes. Sissy was always giving food to friends and neighbors.
Sissy was known to have the biggest heart in the world especially for children. She kept a calendar every year and updated it to make sure that everyone got a birthday card. She loved family and giving.
At weddings and family gatherings you would always find Sissy around the kids, she loved them. Sissy never got the opportunity to be a Mother, though she was a mother in many ways, always nurturing everyone. She was a wonderful caring Daughter, Wife, Sister, Aunt, Great Aunt and friend to all who knew her.
Sissy loved people and caring for others. She attended Church at St. Rose of Lima Parish, Miami Shores with her husband Jose M. Carril Jr and her Brother David E. Scott will be conducting her service.
She was very close to her Late Father-in-law Jose M. Carril and Mother in-law Georgina, whom she affectionately called Mom and Dad.
Sissy is survived by her devoted husband of 33 years Joey, ( Jose M. Carril Jr. ): Her Mother Rebecca ( Becky ) whom she always called Mommy, her Brothers and Sisters, Dennis Scott, David Scott, Kelly Scott, Toby Scott, Jimmy Joannides, Tammy Mccloud, Bobby Scott, Davis lee Scott Jr. AKA little Dave, and Angel.

From Tammy, Alfie with little Alfie and Bowen. From Tammy, Timmy with Malik and Blake. From Bobby, Little Bobby with Brodey. From Bobby, Stephanie with Cornell, Chase, Caden, and Chance. From David, Sandy with Sidney and Chance. From David, Jessica with Clayton. From David, Jacob with Preston, Rian, Kate, Chase, Liam, and new baby Oliver.
Sissy was preceded in death by her Father Davis Lee Scott, Grandparents Annie and Elvis Scott.
