M. Annette Sistern, age 52, of Washington, Iowa, died Tuesday, February 12, 2013, at the Washington County Hospital after failing in health for the past two years. Celebration of life services will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 18, 2012 at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Stiles officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Jones & Eden Funeral Home. Interment will take place at a later date. Memorials have been established for the United Methodist Church of Washington. Online condolences may be sent for Annette's family through the web at www.jonesfh.com. Annette was born January 26, 1961, in Iowa City, Iowa, the daughter of Max LeRoy and Mary Madora (Lonsdale) Smith. She attended school in Washington, Iowa. She was united in marriage to Frank E. Osborn Jr. in 2008. She was previously married to Ronald Sistern. She worked as a waitress at the Ainsworth Four Corners Restaurant and previously worked as a cook at the Washington Care Center and Melody Lanes in Washington. She drove a Taxi while living in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Annette was a member of the United Methodist Church in Washington, Iowa. While in high school she was an active member of the Rainbow Girls. She enjoyed playing computer games and was a true animal lover. She had a deep concern for whales, lions and any animal in need. Annette enjoyed collecting anything related to Dolphins. Annette is survived by her husband, Frank E. Osborn Jr. of Washington, Iowa; daughter, Bambi Sistern Goodwin of Waseka, Minnesota; daughter, Taylor Barnett and husband Jeffrey of Fairfield, Iowa; four grandchildren, Malachi, Max and Lilly Goodwin, and Blair Barnett; father, Dr. Max Smith of Washington, Iowa; brother, Mark Smith of Washington, Iowa; and many friends. She was preceded in death by her mother in June of 2012.

I miss my kid sister, we always been there for each other thru the years, enjoy many fun times , dinners, road trips and much more.
