We have only fond memories of our visits with Nettie. She was an inspiration to us as to how to accept growing old with grace and love for all of God's creations.

To describe Mom with mere words is like trying to paint a picture without paints or canvas.
She’s simply the most beautiful human being I’ve ever known.
She was an endless fountain of love and faith, looking for the rainbow after the storm. Finding delight in a new flower bud. Taking in one more stray critter. Turning the kitchen into a disaster area to bake a pie or two to share (and saying that she shouldn’t have put so much or so little sugar in while we thought it...

I met Nettie during a week's visit to Debbie and Dan's house. We talked about email, watched an old black and white movie and laughed about "how people used to talk back then". It was a joy to communicate with her.
Nettie's life reminded me of what I can hope for - to be surrounded with love and have both your independence and a place to garden - sounds like heaven on earth. She must be taking well to her new home.
Thank you Nettie. You are in our hearts and smiles.

Deb, Bud and families,
Aunt Nettie was a wonderful support especially since I lost Ann. God blessed us with her life and now she is at peace and rest in Him.

We will greatly miss our Aunt Nettie. The twinkle in her eyes was a pleasure and she reminded me of our dad. Another generation has passed, and I know they are happily together in heaven.
