Annette L. Wolfe
Concord, NH - ANNETTE L WOLFE, 88, passed away on Friday May 9th 2025 at Presidential Oaks in Concord, NH with her loving children by her side. She was born in Presque Isle, Maine, the daughter of the late Paul Lamoreau and Ruth (Hasey) Lamoreau.
In her earlier years, Annette worked as a telephone operator before prioritizing being the best mom she could be at raising her children. She later worked as a school cook, a foot reflexologist, and a CNA for Visiting Nurses until her retirement. Annette then made the decision to be a "snowbird", residing in Arizona during the winters and returning to her favorite place to stay in the summer at the family camp in Maine. After moving to NH to be closer to family, she enjoyed attending any activities that her family members were involved in. She was always up for an adventure, and she never missed an opportunity to let others know how much she appreciated or cared for them. She will be remembered as a beloved mother, sister, auntie, grammy, great-grammy, nature enthusiast, animal lover, crafter, and kind friend to all. Her smile, enormous infectious laugh, and "love pats" will be deeply missed.
Annette is survived by her children, Karla Aljonaid of Boscawen, NH, Dale Wolfe and wife Karen of Phippsburg, ME, Jonathan Wolfe and wife Lisa VanBiene of Merrimack, NH, and Melinda Wolfe and husband Russ Rattray of Dunbarton, NH; grandchildren Paul, Patrick, and Preston Wolfe, Jennifer Wolfe-Hagstrom, and Ali-Kyle Aljonaid; and 5 great grandchildren; beloved daughter-in-law Alice Wolfe, sisters-in-law Carolyn Lamoreau and Marilyn Clark, and special nieces and nephew Janet Carter, Kristen Murphy, and Jay Lamoreau. She also leaves behind many dear cousins and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Paul and Rodney Lamoreau, and son-in-law Ahmed Aljonaid.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Presidential Oaks and Granite VNA hospice services for their care of Annette in her final weeks.
A Celebration of Life will be held July 26th at 1pm at the First Congregational Church of Hopkinton, NH and August 9th at 1pm at the United Church of Christ in Presque Isle, Maine. The family encourages attendees to wear celebratory attire if so moved. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to NH Audubon (nhaudubon.org). The Waters Funeral Home has the honor of assisting the family with the arrangements.

Annette was kindness personified. She was warm, self assured and light hearted. Her approach to life was honest and she was steeped in plain no nonsense wisdom. I trusted her opinions and advice and I loved her.
She was not professional bargaining in friendship and I'm certain that she always left more than she walked away with. The Earth's garden is lush because of how she tended it and we will all bloom basking in the glow she leaves behind.

A delightful woman and good friend. She cared for our home and dogs teddy buttons and JD while we were in AZ. Distance did not take away our fond memories.

Annette was who I want to be when I grow up. She was full of joy and she was so proud of her family. And she could laughit was contagious. I met her in Sierra Vista, Arizona, and then she moved back to NHjust 20 minutes from my son. It was so great to be able to spend time with her again; she will be missed. But I know she is making everyone who shows up in heaven feel welcome and loved.
