I am just now finding out about her death. I am a first cousin to her, my mother and her father were sister and brother. I saw her in 2010 and was really happy that we had connected at that time, I was visiting California at the time and got to see her. With her really busy life and the distance we really didn't get to see one another very often. I moved from Bronx NY with my three children to California in 1971 so really were not physically close in proximity. So really sad to hear that...

I remember Annie from the eight years that I worked at The Soho Weekly News. I remember her expansive aura and warmth. She was a member of the Tribe.
