Grissom, Annie L. Of Burton, age 86, died Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at her residence. Memorial Service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Pastor Steve Wood officiating. Cremation has taken place. Visitation 1 p.m. Sunday until the time of the service at the funeral home. Annie was born in Mocksville, North Carolina on December 25, 1929, the daughter of the late Eugene and Jessie (Taylor) Steelman. Surviving are children, Johnny, William and wife Judith, Eddy and wife Mary, Wanda and husband Catalino, Susan Genore, Elaine and husband Jack, Dolly and husband Rick, Sherry and John, Jeffrey and Julie and her son, Bailey; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
