Annie Lorie Ozark Meyer, age 94, of Wildwood, Missouri, passed away peacefully at Friendship Village in Chesterfield on February 24, 2025.
Born on April 30, 1930, in St. Louis, Missouri, she was the daughter of Alfred M. and Elenore Ozark. Annie grew up in St. Louis, attending elementary school and Southwest High School, before moving to Eureka, Missouri in 1945, where she graduated from Eureka High School in 1947. She then pursued her studies at Harris Teachers College for two years before embarking on her professional career.
Annie enjoyed a distinguished career in the banking industry, working for several financial institutions in West St. Louis County before retiring from investment banking in 1997.
Above all, Annie was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and treasured friend. Her kind and nurturing spirit touched the lives of all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Meyer. She is survived by her children, Kathie (Jeff) Haferkamp, Karen (Robert) Titkemeyer, and Kenneth (Nancy) Meyer; eight grandchildren, Julie Haferkamp (Jim White), Gregory Grimes (Kristen Lux), Michael Grimes (Elisa Trevino), Lisa Lyles (Dominic), Sarah McQuinn (Ryan), Whitney Fisher (Michael), Kelly Meyer (Jackson Eaton), and Kenneth Meyer; and nine great-grandchildren, Nico Trevino-Grimes, Carson, Piper, and Cameron McQuinn, Annie and Davie Fisher, Joseph and Katherine Lyles, and Daisy White.
Services: A service to celebrate Annie’s life will be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 955 MO-109, Wildwood, MO 63038 on Sunday, March 2, 2025, with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. and the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. A reception will follow in the church fellowship hall. Private burial will take place on Monday, March 3, 2025.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Wildwood in Annie’s memory.
