You will GREATLY be missed...

The quintessential 'Moma' Panther, Miss Annie never talked more than two sentences without asking the pivotal question of which high school you graduate from.
If you were an Alum of The 'Velt, she would court you for membership and volunteerism with the National Alumni group. Following with making the case on the building receiving historical designation, one felt her love and passion for The 'Velt!

Her legacy is one of
Veracity,
Encouragement,
Love and
Tenacity! ...

Mrs. May left a legacy of determination, tenacity, and service to her community. She wanted the students of Roosevelt to understand the tradition and history of our beloved Roosevelt. She devoted countless hours to students of Roosevelt through tutoring , giving them an encouraging word and spreading love. She had a vision to have Roosevelt High School listed as a Historical Landmark and I am happy through her faith in God, determination, and tenacity; Her vision became a reality. Thank you...

Annie, my dear friend I will miss you. Rest now in God's Arms. Well done.
