I am so sorry to recently learn that your mother, Mrs. Sams, passed. She was such a regal, intelligent, and fun-loving woman! I am grateful that I had the privilege of interacting, socializing, and learning from her. She will be truly missed. My sisters: Sherrie, Demetra, and Denita along with our mother, "Miss B" join me in sending our sincerest condolences. You all are in our prayers.

Your mother was one of the sweetest, reserved, dignified women I have ever me. I had long heard of her and Mr. Sams as the first couple of PV. Years later Ms. Sams was one of the principal players in a business that I was involved in. My young family and I would often drive to PV to have Mrs. Sams sign documents, she was always a gracious hostess. As it turns out she told my wife and I on one ocassion, how she had been a childhood friend of my mother-in-law as...
