Many of us are here because of her. She was my Great Grandma. If it wasn't for her being the mom to my grandpa and him being the father to my mom, I would not be here. So, I owe her thanks. Thanks for giving life, strength, and love. She was always so sweet. One of my earliest memories of her was at her home, I was just a child and she helped me find a coloring book. All my memories of her are pleasant and I am proud to call her my Great Grandma.

No bond is as great as that between a parent and child. My deepest condolences are with you as you grieve.

One of my fondest memories will always be swinging on Grandmaw Self's front porch swing, with a glass of ice tea in one hand and holding hands with Grandmaw with my other hand, swinging high, singing loud and laughing hard!

I have known the Self family since the 1940s, worked with Mrs Self at Hayes Aircraft in the 50s, great family, a wonderful privilege and memories to have known them.
