My father just called and asked me to read Uncle Anse's obituary online. It is amazing to see the things he accomplished in his lifetime! I'm sure your family is so proud of what he stood for and should have peace knowing he is in a wonderful place.

Dear Dees Family,
Your dad was a dear, dear friend of my dad's and was always kind enough to ask about him when I'd see your dad at the fair. Like many other men of his generation that I've known, I didn't know Anse was a WWII hero until I read his obituary. I know you will miss him but can take comfort in the fact that his was a life well-lived. My prayers are with you.
