Not sure what to say?

He was my best friend since the first day I met Tony and his wife Rose. His brother Vince joined him a few years ago. I loved the Accardo family. I miss them all

I can't believe its been 10 years since my best friend passed.I still think of him and Rosie often..His brother Vince passed away a little over a year ago..Vince and I got very close and we had the same bond that I had with Tony..Became a very good friend of entertainer Vito Zatto who was the son of Tony's friend Ducky Zatto..That was his nicname as I don't recall his first name..There was Tony,Vince,Ducky,Sam and Char Scala..It was the best of times for this Irishman and my Italian...

I still miss my buddy..Time has moved so fast..I did get to play for your brother Vince's wife on her birthday this past winter..Your ears must be ringing as we talked about you...Oh How I wish you and Rosie were with us..Maybe you were from far above...Well we all will be visiting you someday and just have Rosie make the great Italian dinner she made for me and Donna and my daughter Kim and son Shawn....like the song "those were the days my friend we thought they'd never end we'd sing and...

I can't believe its already been a year.I miss talking to my friend.I will never forget the fun we had.The hours you spent with Rosie watching me perform is humbling. You were my friend through it all.Backing me on the song I wrote about Chicago and being there through the Roberto Clemente days.I wrote the song in your house on jan 1st 1973.The Ballad of Roberto is in the Hall of Fame so part of you is there checking out the White Sox who are in there.

Rest in peace

Many years ago Tony came into a business I was working at in Cicero. My father was visiting me there one day and they met. They both loved to "chat". They ended up talking forever about the West side, nuns, and just being a kid growing up. After that, Tony would stop in now and then, just to see how I was doing and always sent a hello to my dad. I never forgot that.
I'm smiling as I write this. My sympathy to the Accardo family.

i wrote the tune about my hero Roberto in Tony's house that sad day.Tony tell Roberto hello when you see him.

Tony was one of a kind.I spent many wonderful hours with the family having dinner at their house in cicero. So many nights Tony and Rosalie and Joe White would come to see me perform at the old Navarone and other clubs around town.We had so much fun.I just hope heaven doesn't have any bridges on the way there cause Tony won't go over them.I'm so glad I stopped in last week from Fort Wayne to say hi.I truly believe that God said thats enough suffering and called him to a better place. If the...
