Judge adeane was a very good judge, ....and judge of character ,...with insight and empathy. I will always remember the words he said to me , and the help he gave me . Bless you judge Adeane and love to your family at this sad time.x

Fond memories of a crazy trip to a Hasting´s Blossom Festival, Glenn Wilson inspired, and summer nights in Gisborne on motorcycles 1971/72. Not surprised by comments re court room demeanour- always very quick witted. RIP - Dennis Slade (PhD) Massey University.

It was a privilege knowing Tony. I'm so sorry he's departed. May all the happy memories you have help you through. Sending much love

To the Adeane family, my deepest condolences for the loss of such an awesome man. I met Tony when I was a fresh faced constable working in Gisborne. In my dealings with him i found he was a firm but fair judge. I have a particular memory from a meeting on the road between Waiouru & Ohakune that cemented my respect for him. Rest in Peace your Honour. Respect always. Former constable WSI774
